GUILD LEADER/COMMUNITY LEADER - IRON WARLORD

The Guild Leader is in charge of steering the overall guild direction and storylines that take place throughout our many gaming chapters, constructing, maintaining, and changing OOC guild structure when it's required, primary organizer for guild meetings, guild website administration, handling of recruitment of officers, and works with other guild leaders on inter-guild storylines, community RP, and PvP Alliances.
COMMUNITY MANAGER

The Community Manager assists in steering the overall direction fo the guild, organizes and runs guild events as necessary, works with the community and other guilds to setup alliances and community RP outreach events. CMs are also in charge of recruitment interviews and initiations of all new members to the IC Gaming Community.
VETERAN - IRON VANGUARD

The Iron Vanguard, a Veteran of the Circle, is a rank representing those who have demonstrated a commitment to the guild, and proven themselves time and again to be an example to others looking to advance to follow. Veteran - Iron Vanguard players are active participants in virtually all guild activities.
GUILD OFFICER - CAPTAIN

Guild Officers are responsible for reviewing applications, and constructively assisting those who fall short of our expectations or approve those who are found to be a good fit for the Iron Circle. They are also required to uphold the integrity and ensure the cohesiveness of all members within the greater gaming community.
VETERAN - OLD TIMER

Veteran Old Timers are guild members who at one point or another were able to commit the time and effort required to put into the guild in order to help us achieve great things. Those who eventually burn out or decide to play much more casually in comparison to the core group for any particular game are posted here.
MEMBER - LEGIONNAIRE

A member is someone who has successfully completed the probationary period, and also has expressed interest in becoming a more involved member of the IC Gaming Community. Members are actively striving to improve their skill in games that IC chooses to play in as a guild, those who show interest in increasing their standing within the community will eventually be promoted to Veteran status.
RECRUIT - MERCENARY

Newly admitted recruits who are looking to achieve Member status. This is considered an introductory rank to determine if you're a good fit for the guild in terms of skill and personality. Singing up is the first step to joining our community, but just because you show up doesn't mean that membership is guaranteed.

Leadership & Member Expectations

Organization is critical when it comes to working together and accomplishing our goals. Guild ranks are used to distribute the responsibility of managing and organizing the guild during PvE and RP encounters, and the guild as a whole. As the Iron Circle continues to grow there will always be room for advancement, however, we always look to feedback from our members no matter the rank. Please remember although the guild is very cooperative in nature and many of our decisions are based on feedback and constructive conversation, the rank structure is managed in a way that is in the best interest of guild development and is done by its founders: the Guild Master and his officers.

  • Website Usage
As a guild, we expect members to use good judgment, to be polite, and to help make whichever TIC supported game community you're taking part in a great place to play. You are expected to check the guild discord and website at least once a week since most guild issues will be discussed there. If you can't be bothered to click a URL once or twice a week, we can't be bothered to keep you informed of things that might concern you.

  • Game Inactivity
We have a strict activity policy, those who are not on for over a month will be removed from the guild, consider this warning and due diligence. If a real life situation occurs such as school, tests, work, family, death, sickness, military, etc. that is completely acceptable. All that is required of you is to notify Ridrith, or other officers via in-game tells, email, in-game mail, text message, or forum message. Just have the courtesy and respect to notify us, so we know that you did not quit the game and we will hold your spot within the guild until the issues or situations are resolved. If there is a miscommunication and you come back and find you are not in the guild, we will work with you and try to get you in the guild again as quick as possible!

We are looking for long-term players who want a home of tightly knit friends who enjoy gaming together. We want to create a guild that supersedes the existence of the game. Meaning the game is merely a forum for the guild to develop further as a means to an end, not the other way around. The guild does not exist solely for the purpose of any game we play, many of us have been gaming together for years and through multiple games and wish to add more players to that list and continue that tradition.

  • Voice Chat 'Discord.'
All players are to have and use Discord to facilitate group play, communication and the further development of our online community. It is of the highest order that all utilize Discord whether they can talk or not if only to get used to the other players in the guild who they are meeting for the first time and enhance the in-game relationships being developed. If this is not feasible for you, then this is not the home for you.

The Iron Circle is a PC Gaming, and Tabletop Roleplaying guild focused on creating a community of mature, intelligent, funny and down to earth folks who are more interested in camaraderie over strict progression. We want the Iron Circle to be a place for adults that can enjoy socializing with friends as much as they enjoy playing the games themselves. Though we are NOT a hardcore group of gamers, we do expect our membership to hone their skills and to make sure that they're able to pull their weight. No matter which branch you choose to join - We expect you to try. We might not be playing for the top position, but we certainly aren't aiming to be last.
